Dealing With The Stresses Of Daily Life

check my reference The stresses of daily life seemed to have become a little bit too much for me lately.

Although when speaking to me this was not evident, deep down the tangled ball of emotions became more and more knotted and this is the reason I’ve been quite for the past week or so.

No doubt you have been are currently or will in the future feel like everything is just getting a little bit too much, you need to take a step back and have a breather from what is going in around you, but it’s not an easy task, the world will not stop rotating for you, so there must be a way to cope with this ‘stress’?

What I’m going to do about it is re-evaluate what’s important to me, ramp up my efforts to become more of the caveman I long to be and make the small but necessary changes in my life that will help myself and those around me.

The first step to this new journey that I’m about to embark on is to clear my mind, I need to see beyond the dark cloud of confusion and search for the light, the path of a better me.

Now I know what you’re thinking this all sounds very much like a Buddhist path, the path of enlightenment, and in a way you’re right. I have looked into Buddhism before and it did help, but this time I aim to do it with something else, this time I want to do it with Yoga.

I have tried Yoga before and currently do it a couple of time a week more the flexibility purposes to help improve my running. I have read that Yoga can have a positive impact on stress as well, so this is the journey that I will take. I have started my research already and came across a YouTube channel called Yoga With Adriene and spotted a series that she has created called 30 days of Yoga.

I visited her website Yoga With Adriene and signed up for the 30 days of Yoga email, now it’s just a case of starting this and seeing where it takes me, I will keep you posted every now and then with how I get on.

So what are some of the main benefits to Yoga?

  • Improves flexibility
  • Build muscle strength
  • Increases your blood flow
  • Makes you happier
  • Improves your balance
  • Helps you sleep
  • Gives you peace of mind
  • Improves digestion

These are just a handful of the benefits that Yoga brings but you can see that it’s worth a go to see what changes it can bring you.

So I guess this post is a way of me saying sorry for not being about, not only to you but to myself. Also it’s a way for me to identify that I aim to find a way out of the stresses of life and hope to encourage others to do the same.

If you’re feeling down, trapped or stressed then why not take a similar path to mine and see how you get on, feel free to comment below on how you’re getting on.
